During my comeback to the true love of mine (2c audio) I have aquired a few Sansui receivers. But I have never ran across this model. I was wondering what you guy's would have to say about it. I can find no detailed information on this unit. I went thru this before w/my 7000. Which is IMHO is a great receiver. TIA for any input on this guys.

My bad SS, I should have included in the post that it is one I am looking @ on E-Bay. From the write up it seems to be a good little receiver. Anyway here is the listing for the 3500 being sold.

I had one about a year or so ago. The thing I liked about it was the silky smooth controls. The sound as I remember was fairly average and the dial lights were out. It went for 35 bucks on epay.

From 1968-1969, the 3500 is about 40 watts/channel. Only two have been seen on eBay (unless I missed some - and I'm sure I didn't :scratch2: ) and those two sold for $80 and $100.

Input very much appreciated guy's, and it seems to be on the positive side. if it is still there in a couple of hours, got to go to a B-Day party - mine  , I will introduce it to a few of it's cousins. Thanks again!

Well hopefully the Audio & Shipping gods will look favorably on me one more time. Just bought it and am looking forward to matching it up with a TT, CDP, and speakers for the computer room. Thanks once again guys for all the information.
Later!
