Sansui 50/50

[fmueller]

Kinda curious what all the Sansui hype on this site is about, and there is currently a Sansui 50/50 on fleabay that is local to me. Is that a receiver that might impress the Sansui newcomer, and what would be a fair price for that thing, working flawlessly, cosmetics ok?

Pretty low in the line. I have not heard one, I only have the 9090DB.

It the smallest of the late 70's Sansui x0x0 receivers, but great looking like the others, and an excellent 30 WPC receiver for a small room system / bookshelf speakers. I think $40 or $50 would be a decent price ....

It would probable end up in my son's room with a CD player and a set of bookshelf speakers. I'll buy it if the price is right

Good luck, it sounds like an excellent choice for that setup :thmbsp:
