Sansui 6060 - output transistor orientation

Recently acquired a 6060 in a few pieces. This is the later version with the F-2701 amplifier board and vertical heatsink. Upon opening up the cabinet, all 4 output transistors (2SD188A & 2SB545A) plus a few other surprises were inside a ziploc bag. I do not have a schematic showing the F-2701 revision. Which transistors go where?

Look at the service manual, the location should be pretty easy to find looking at the boards. the numbers are listed in the schematic
 
I'd be testing those transistors before I did anything with them, have to assume they've been removed and placed in a ziploc bag for a reason. :idea:

NPN (2SD) on the positive rail. PNP (2SB) on the negative rail. ;)
 
Thanks for the help. I did test them, a pair is shorted out, furthermore, most of the fuse resistors are open, still checking all associated components.
 
Avionic, thank you! Luckily I do have a couple of pairs of the MJ21193G/MJ21194G. I think one of these is on backorder almost everywhere.

bzb882, thank you as well! However, my unit has verticle-mounted heatsinks. A later revision to the one in your photo. This is from the F-2648 board. Mine is the F-2701 board.

Does anyone have a copy of a later owner's manual or schematic that references the F-2701 amplifier board? I am quite certain of the mounting locations but would like to be 100% sure.
 
OKAY, yesterday I was a bad boy.....

I have a 6060 that I upgraded a couple of months ago replacing the crackling transistors. Years ago I got this unit and did some re-capping on a lot of it.

So, I was playing the Outlaws on my reel to reel deck, and I had it quite loud, so like most guys, I turned it up a little louder. Than it went silent.

I thought it might be the protection circuit, nope, did find a blown fuse, but that didn't fix the problem.

I have the 2700 and 2701 boards for your information. Are there any fusible resistors on those board, or just normal. I think I some open resistors on the 2700.
I know the 2647 board has a few fusible resistors, just want to be sure about others.

While I am at it, are there any other transistors that might need replacing? Going to have it apart, might as well do it.
I got the better schematic from here, and it was nice to be able to capture areas of the paper so I could see the darn thing. Of course besides my bad eyes, my not so steady hands make it interesting.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
