Does anyone out there know if the model 7000 receiver has the dual differential pair on the amp input, like the Eight, AU-666-999? I've read through some past threads that say the 7000 and Eight were built around the same time and share some similarities but that there are also notable design differences and was wondering if they have the dual diff pair in common. My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I guess I'm also wondering if the Eight Deluxe retained the dual diff pair. I'm not the most technical person but would appreciate anyone's insight.

I believe the 7000 is cap coupled at the output of the amp. And no, no diff pair at the input of the amp board.

Definitely cap coupled. The guts of the 7000 are more like the 5000 series and share nothing with the Eight.

Thanks, Pete. I have to laugh that you and Rob were the first folks to reply, because after I posted my question I discovered a thread from 2009 that I had missed before where you two are discussing this very thing.
