Slowly but surely....
I called and he said the buyer beat me by 2 minutes. The buyer will be driving from Sacramento to San Ramon just for the Eight!
But the seller also had a 9090DB that he bought for less than $100 thirteen years ago, and he just wanted his money back. One channel is out. He did not list it. That 9090DB is now in my trunk as I type....

Thanks Rob...but mine needs work, so hopefully it's something simple..but totally worth repairing it.

It will need some work, only one channel has sound - low volume, distorted and noisy. Dolby board will need to be pinned, and the whole receiver will need to be recapped. Production June 1977, so almost exactly 40 years young.
