:guitar: :guitar: well last night i bought a sansui 8080db real cheap he said it has no output and as we all know the pealing of the case i got it off the bay so it is coming from newyork when it comes in im going to redo the case and fix it the reciever and give it my dad for fathers day or if i get it done in time he loves my sansui 8080db so i thought i would suprse him with it at work we have a full wood working shop so when it comes in ill take the case and refinish it there

Great receiver, I miss my 8080DB. It paid for my G-9000DB. The 8080 sounded a tad nicer.

So, how is the Sansui 8080db? Did it arrive safely? How does it work? Make sure the mute switch is working and in the correct position -- you'd be surprised how many times people think their receivers are dead when it is just the mute switch acting up. You can put a jumper around the switch to by-pass it. Best of luck.

Let me know if you want to sell it. I don't have much money, but if it isn't working I'm hoping it will sell at a price I can afford.
