Just started recapping a sansui 881. The tuner circuit board that is listed in the service manual and everywhere I look on line is F1507. My 881 has a different PCB all together, F 2549. I have been able to find that particular board listed as part of a model 9090. I’m curious if anyone has ever seen anything like this before. It is factory original. I understand that sansui made substitutions but this is strange. I’m new to recapping but it looks like not all of the board was used either. I will include some photos. What need is a parts list and schematic to assist with recapping. Thanks for any help.

The 881 is a precursor/transitional unit to the 8080/9090. The F2436 driver board is very close to [if not identical] to the F2436 in the 8080/9090. The F2436 driver(s) in the QRX6001 are identical in layout but differ in installed components. The fact that your 881 has a F-2549 found in the 8080/9090 is not too unusual. The 881 is an excellent unit and a “sleeper” as it is not hyped as much as the 8080/9090.
If you are sure it’s OEM go with it. Track down a 8080/9090 service manual to compare but leave it with the OEM components installed. I used a F2436 out of a QRX 6001 to build a F2436 for a 9090 but used the parts list from the 9090 as almost all the components for the QRX 6001 F-2436 were different. The board is labeled & looks [layout] the same but the installed parts may not be the same.
Be careful of the glass protection for the tuning dial => it is glass and can break if you are not careful.
