Sansui 9090 with Advent Speakers

Hey There,

I'm new here, my apologies if I'm in the wrong forum. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if a Sansui 9090 would be a good pairing for my Vintage Large Advent Speakers (pair, no stacks currently). I have someone that's interested in parting ways with their Sansui 9090 (my amp took a dump) and I'm wondering if 110 watts per/channel is going to be too much. Thank you all for a taking a peek!

Welcome to AK, Large Advents likes power I've tried that same set up and it was a pretty good experience... that said, I like them more with Marantz/Pioneer units tho.

Sure, they'll be great with the 9090. The 110 watts is with full throttle. Just crank responsibly and you'll be fine.
 
I am sure the advents will sound great with the 9090. Just curious if you have a 9090 now that broke on you. It can be repaired and might be cheaper.
