On the way out to get coffee this morning my wife noticed an estate sale sign. We were about an hour late from our usual weekend time. Showed up at the estate sale and they had Sansui 5000 speakers which I looked at but were sold.
Saw a Denon AVR 1010 which I looked at a couple of times for $65 but passed. Went up to the register to purchase something my wife wanted and saw the "other" half of the speakers, a Sansui 9090 black face. Same $65 as the Denon. It was stacked up with decent looking but couldn't see turntable.
Turns out the same guy that bought the speakers and some lawn chairs purchased that and the turntable. A half hour earlier and I would have been ecstatic. Now.......heavily depressed. $65, I'm sick.
