Sansui AU-20000 or CA-3000 and BA-3000?

Hello, i have the opportunity to buy either the BA-3000 and CA-3000 or an AU-20000 with TU-9900.
The AU-20000 with TU9900 is the same money as the BA&CA 3000.

Do the separates sound better or is the sound pretty much the same as i hear the AU-20000 is a BA/CA 3000 in the same case?

What has more value?

Only because people don't understand how to maintain/repair them properly.

For out-and-out SQ probably the BA/CA combination may win.

But if it was me I would go for the AU-20000 and the TU-9900

I would take the BA/CA 3k because I own and love them. I also own the TU-9900, and the AU20k/TU9900 is a better value if they are offered at the same price.

So, if you are in to ease of maintenance and sound quality: BA/CA-3000 combo.
If you are in to resale value and a more complete set of gear (source through output): AU-20000 / TU-9900.

Either way you can't lose and will have some gear that you won't want to ever get rid of!

$1800 for the BA/CA-3000 or $2000.00 for the AU-20000/TU-9900.
Not really a deal to jump at i.m.o. but i could be wrong.......

I would go for the separates. The AU 20000 is nice, but it's 10 pound integrated in a 5 pound bag, so to speak.
