Sansui AU-4900 without fusible resistors

Hi, l am just checking another Sansui AU-4900 and have noticed that it doesn't have any fusible resistors on the main amp board. The last AU-4900 l did had four fusible resistors on the main amp, close to the output stage. This unit is all original and has never been touched, was this a running change form Sansui with the earlier units having standard resistors and then the later units receiving the fusibles for added security?

Just curious whether anyone else has come across this and if this is also the case in any other models? This unit is a 1975 build, the last may have been a 1976 but l am not certain.

I went thru to replace fusibles in my Sansui X1 and only about half of them were there compared to what the SM was telling me - so yes, Sansui did make adjustments as they went along. Also, often the SM is for very early versions of an amplifier.

Thanks slimecity for your input, so it seems they did it on later models also. Yes the service manual l have here doesn't show any fusible resistors either now that l have had a closer look, so l am guessing that the other AU-4900 l had was indeed a later unit.
