Hello,

I have a subwoofer onkyo with only one rca plug on back side and a gain button, how can i plug it in to my au-519 ?
what can i do ?

Also , i have a problem with my bass and treble ( is at maximum),
my speaker Mission 700 .8 ohms works well before i change the ampli ?
I clean everything with Deoxit dn5....Ampli, tuner, tape and speaker.

I lost sound one side when i select phono1 or 2 ?

Can i change my my power cord 2/18 awg for 2/14 awg in my au-519, tu-519 ?
Is it possible to burn something inside ?

Somebody toll me also to change the black flags

Ouf...a lot of questions...but i need help...( like The beatles said ...lolll ) is my first Sansui !

Thank's everyone......check photos !

Sounds like you have an oxidised tone control switch (i.e. not cleaned properly). F-2913 - S01a and S01b

Another oxidised switch most likely, F-2910 - S01a or S01b.

A waste of time to change the tuner power cable, but you could change the cable for the amplifier if you want. It is unlikely to make much, if any difference, but will not damage anything - unless you mess up changing the cable(s)

These are unreliable square, black, film capacitors that can give trouble, unless you are going to do a full reconditioning of the amplifier I wouldn't bother to change only the 'Black Flags'.

Before doing any of this you need to think about whether of not you have the required skills to complete the jobs above - especially the mains cable change(s) which need extra care because lethal mains voltages are involved.
