So I noticed an error on the AU-666 while tracing all my wires back throughout the entire amp.
Based on evidence left behind, this was probably a revision Sansui never fully finished in the manual.
They show the collector of the "TR813" 2SA537 driver transistor going to Pin 8 on the Driver PCB pin. This is incorrect. Pin 8 is completely Blank/no Trace.
They also show this particular resistor on the Driver board "R849" which is shown on the PCB drawing, but not the parts list or schematic. This resistor goes from "TR13" Collector, to pin "12" to GND through the PCB socket.
And the main side of the Collector of "TR813" goes directly to Pin 9, which is tied to the Output transistors collector.
I don't have the value, as the schematic does not list it, nor am I home right now to check. But its present on all the AU666s I see online. So its definitely an error!
So I am documenting this for any future repair attempts that results on confusion due to this error on the Sansui Au-666/ and may also apply to the Au999, but not 100% sure on that.
The other driver "NPN 2SC708" is all drawn correctly. I'ts just for the PNPs, which is drawn incorrectly.
As you can see. R849 is not on the list whatsoever. Pin 8 is Blank. Schematic does not reflect this. Though my Revised drawing does.
Thick Black line represents the individual Connector Pins, not a Common point
