Sansui AU-719 Touch up

I recently picked up a beautiful Sansui AU-719. Sound is amazing but the black faceplate has a few scratches along with the volume knob and the case. What is the best way to repair these? I don't want to use a sharpie because I'm afraid the color won't match and I want to do it right. Any Suggestions?

Several folks herein swear by the products from a company named Birchwood Casey. They make products for firearms enthusiasts to touch up worn metal surfaces. Just Google them and select what you think might be the best match. I’m thinking a satin black touch up pen might work best.
