I have done almost every modification found on this site for my AU-9500. (film caps where applicable, new electrolytics throughout, on-semi small signal transistors)
While It has come out quite nice, I did not change the outputs (2SA909/2SC1886) or the pre-driver transistors on the F-2029 driver board (2SA706/2SC1124)
Are there any sonic benefit to swapping output transistors out for their modern substitutes, or the three on the driver board?
Driver board:
2SA706: KSA1381 or? KSA1220 (x2)
2SC1124: KSC3503 or? KSC2690
Outputs:
2SA909: MJ21193G
2SC1586: MJ21194G

I would leave the outputs alone.

Both the 2SA706 and the 2SA1124 are known to deteriorate with age.

2SC1124: I have used KSC2690 and the TTC004-B
2SA706: I have used KSA1220 and the TTA004-B (KSA1381 EOL)
