Sansui au-9500 vs au-8500

I recently got a sansui au-9500 from my bro.. upon surfing the net i found that the au-8500 has a much bigger value on its caps. the higher model au-9500 has a 4,700uf x4 while the lower model au-8500 house a much bigger value with 15,000uf x2. what are the pros and con regarding this amp design? and more listenable to sansui fanatics...thanks for any comments regarding my query..

I have both also and posted this exact same question a while back, got no response. Unfortunately I have still yet to perform the audition, but it will be done at some point. Keep us posted on what you find.

What are the voltage ratings of the caps? I bet the 9500 runs a higher bias setting.

Even though the 9500 is more "dual mono" the 8500 has more total rail capacitance. I would have to look at the schematics but I suspect the power amps are close to identical. Still it will be an interesting comparison.
