OK, some elaboration on relay choices after looking at the Omron datasheet for the MY series since I'm looking for a replacement in my AU-517...
My 517 came with the Taiko RABK-2B mentioned here and elsewhere. The Taiko part pinout shown on the top cover has 2 columns of pins and matches the MY2 pinout below where when closed pin 5 contacts pin 9 and pin 8 contacts pin 12. The MY2 part has contacts rated for 5A (2 contacts)
The MY4 part has the pinout shown below with 4 columns of pins and has contacts rated for 3A (4 contacts). When closed we get connections between pins 5 & 9, 6 & 10, 7&11 and 8&12.

The AU-517 power board (F-2675) has this footprint for the relay (note Sansui may have revised the board at some point). An MY4-02-DC24 would insert in this location "IF" you cut off pins 2 and 3. If you do cut off the pins you will increase the maximum current that can be delivered to the speakers to 6A (at least in the case of this particular board revision which may or may not match the AU-717) since there are 2 contacts for each of the L and R channels.
If however you use the MY2-02-DC24 relay, you will be matching the connections of the RABK-2B. There may be a maximum current difference between the Taiko and Omron parts but I haven't found a spec for the Taiko part to compare.
I have seen some definitive statements that the MY4 part is the correct part but I don't think there is one right answer here but at least you have some information to make the tradeoffs for max current, and contact redundancy in your application (e.g. Au-517, Au-717 etc.). Thanks to troublehorse for the impetus to dig deeper!
