Sansui AU-D11 II volume pot. log/audio taper (A) or linear taper(B)?

I want to take out the volume pot. of a junk Sansui AU-D11 II as replacement part for my Kenwood C1 pre-amp with defect volume pot. 100KB x2.

But in the service manual of sansui AU-D11 II it noted only : jVR12: 100Kohm VR Volume.

I do not know whether this Sansui volume potentiometer are log/audio taper(A) or linear taper(B).

Can someone tell me what it should be?

Thank in advance.

I am almost certain it is a log pot.

Junk AU-D11 II ! :tears:

I am such a fan of the Sansui AU-D11 II, I would have no hesitation stripping parts out of the Kenwood C1 to get the AU-D11 II working :) - but that's just me.

Sansui amps in my country are too popular so easy to find and buy cheap. This sansui AU-D707X(Aka or similar to Sansui AU-D11 II or AU-G90X) it gets junk after i recapped but with serious faults, all power tranies were burnt due to some shorts somewhere. I fear the bad construction of it and do not have interest in repairing it anymore because i have other sansui amps(AU-707, AU-D607, AU-alpha 707L extra, Au-D907X decade., Au-Alpha 907MR(all japanease versions) for use, though rarely. So i decide to take part for other projects for funs!
