Sansui AU-X701 Alpha - Speaker Suggestions?

I'm upgrading my speakers, Currently running Sansui AU-X701(100watts x 2 @ 8ohm), Denon CD1560, and Paradigm 3SE and Fried Valhalla speakers. I recently did a demo with the B & W CM6 S2 and realized what I have been missing. Unfortunately they are a little out of my price range.

I like the Fried Valhalla's but the Sansui doesn't seem to have the power to really make them sing. I don't want to upgrade the amp as I love the Sansui Alpha AU-X701. So new speakers it is. I'd like something rated around 8 ohm that the Sansui can easily push.

I'd like to keep it under $1000, even better if its less. I've been considering Snell Type D's, Monitor Audio RX6 Silver, Kef LS50's, or Ascend Acoustics Sierra 1 w/NRT upgrade.

You probably need at least a 200 watt per channel amp to adequately power your Fried Vahalla speakers.
I found that going from a 200 watt to a 350 watt per channel amp like my Parasound Hca-3500 made a significant difference with my Fried speakers..

I am going to keep the Frieds and was thinking to pick up an Adcom GFA555 at some point in the future. I'll definitely look into the Parasound HCA-3500 you recommend.
