Sansui AU5500

Hello,
I am starting the rescue of a Sansui Au 5500.
I need help because I don't have a lot of experience !

I bought the amplifier from a grandpa. It was overhauled in 2019. Full recapping + adjustment. Today it is not very well ! It is extremely noisy ! The settings seem to have completely deviated. I noticed that the adjustment trimers were not replaced. I will do it.

I'm worried because reading the left channel bias gives me 39V! 0.4V for the right.

Where are you taking these measurements from?

Rob
Hello Rob, thans for your interest !

I understood my mistake ! Previously I was working on an amp where you have to measure voltage to adjust the bias I read the procedure for this one too quickly ...

The problems I have left with this amplifier is that it is not stable at startup, it takes a few seconds to return to 0 on one channel. He also snores a lot...

DC 0V L is high 25mV right better fluctuate bellow 10mV
