Sansui B-2301 DC Offset

First please download a copy of the Service Manual, you will need it. It also contains the DC and bias setting guides even though it might not be 100% clear how to do it.
In it you will find the following values for variable resistors:

Thanks for the update, just checked these values of Bourns Multi turn trim pot on couple of sites, some of the values not available like 2.2k Ohm& 470 Ohm, Can we use the 2k Ohm & 500 Ohm as direct replacement, or do we need to look for the same value.
Thanks

didn't find the service manual can some one facilitates me with this content
Don't want to sound critical, but did you even bother to check the link on HiFi Engine that Magnus Back provided ?
Stop asking to be spoon-fed, people, do your homework first and don't expect somebody else to do that for you.
There is plenty of information on this forum over the years - just make some effort and search for it.

The B-2301 is not something a novice should be messing with. Even the most experienced Techs find these amps complicated.
It will make an excellent doorstop if your not careful
After all these questions I've been on the edge of making a post like that. ;)

Hi
I have service manual of the Sansui 2301 amplifier, tried to adjust the DC offset, because its out of specs, which is already set in permissible limits, now come to Bias adjustment, just measure the Bias on either end of main driver board, it’s in the range of 0.7 to 0.8 m volts, which need too set to be around 20 mv at all test points as per service manual, But amplifier running good, but as I feel low end response seems to be missing, does bias really impact the sound of amplifier
2nd in the service manual say 90 map at R71 & R74 of driver board, I think these are accessible from bottom by opening small plates.
Have complete Japanese manual with me, its scanned copy not able to translate, can someone translate the page no 14 only or assist me to adjust the bias adjustment.
What is the role of 2 variables on board no 3768 mounted on the back of amplifier, where to measure the dc voltage for the adjustment?

Thanks in advance

Yes bias does affect the sound of the amp.

See below on the procedure.

I have Sansui B2301, which is currently biased at 7mv, during multiple listening sessions I have a feeling of missing bass artifacts, to get the full potential of amp what is the best value of bias value after running operation of 30 min with zero input signal, however service manual say 20mv. Any recommendation on it
