Sansui B-3000 w/components and EPI M-100

So I have the opprotunity to purchase the following.

Sansure B-3000amp with the matching preamp, tuner, and deck. The deck doesn't work, but I don't care about that anyhow. Condition is good and price seems fair, but I don't know if "newer" Sansui gear has a good rep or not. From the same scource, a set of EPI M-100's are available. I think the grills are not removable as I could not pull them off with my hands. They had the old EPI logo, but the cabs did not match. The grill cloths did not match. Both were M-100 though. Any thoughts?:scratch2:

Unless you can get it $40 or less, pass. IMO.

It has nothing to do with it being "newer". Sansui made great audio through the 90's, that is just not it. I don't believe it is made in Japan either.

I give about the same for the EPIs if the drivers are good since they aren't a matched set. You could try to find a matching cab for one of them and use the drivers to rebuild them, very nice sounding little speakers.
