sansui ca-2000 preamp vs au-1000a int amp preamp

Just curious which would be the better preamp. I have the au-10000a int amp which I like. But would the ca-2000 preamp have better performance thru a "quality amp", than the au-1000a (separated) preamp going to the same "quality amp"?

You mean AU-11000A maybe?
Technically the CA-2000/BA-2000 combo would offer better performance. But I'd say it's dang close as they are the same designs, it's just better separation and shielding.

There is an "AU-10000" (came out before the AU-11000 I think), but I don't think there was ever an 'a' version.
