Just Picked up Sansui QRX-7001 reciever and Sansui SD-5050 reel to reel found this forum last night looks like lots of good info in here just wanted to say Hello this amp sounds great my first amp when i was 12 was a Sansui the cheapest one they made in price that is and it was a great amp also .Payed $30 for the Reel to Reel and the guy gave me the amp for free saying it had problems plugged it in and it works great.Although the reel has issues

Hi Dave i have Bose 201's kinda limited to small speakers as i am an apartment dweller and manager so cant disturb the tenants to much

Hi and Welcome. I myself have the same receiver. Got mine in the same way as far as a good deal. I am a new member as well and was warned early on about this hobby. Very addicting to say the least, but a good addiction. great people here with plenty of knowledge and ready to help. Enjoy your stay here and hold on for an adventurous ride :D

That'll work.

I have a 2000x in the shop as we speak. But, I was told on friday that the cost of restoration might be prohibitively high. I have a tough decision to make.:sigh:
