Sansui FR-D3 vs Technics SL-B20

I have these two turntables, and both are strong runners.
I am trying to determine which is the better unit for my humble stereo setup (Hitachi HTA-35F amp/tuner and a set of PSB Passif II speakers).
Does anyone here have an idea how they compare?

I am still interested in the comparison and opinions, but in the meantime, I did a side by side comparison, by plugging the right channel from each turntable into my amp, and played two copies of DSOTM, using the balance slider to compare. I swapped the inputs and did it again (to rule out any differences between the amp's channels), and noticed a difference between the two units.

There are a lot of variables here. A p-mount cart on one table and a regular mount on the other. Do the cartridges have equal play time? Are the record pressings equal, as in how many times have they been played and were they made at the same time?
All I can tell you is there are more choices for cartridges with the Sansui.

I replaced the stylus on the Sansui a couple years ago. No idea if the Technics has ever been done. Beyond that, both carts are likely stock. The clear DSOTM has been played about 3 times, and the one on the right a couple dozen. Both turntables were free, and the stylus for the Sansui was only $25.

All in all, I am a simple man, with a simple stereo. I don't tend to spend money on myself, so upgrading a cartridge would have to really be a game changer for me to want to spend my money there. So much to learn, and not being an audiophile, it is east to get lost in the weeds...
 
Either one should perform well. Which one do you prefer? I would replace the stylus on the Technics not knowing condition. Outside of that, just enjoy them
 
If I had to keep one it would be the Sansui. You will be able to use high end cartridges with it as opposed to the p-mount turntable.
