Sansui G-3000 works but front display does not light up

After cleaning up this Sansui G-3000 I recently acquired, it powers up and works quite well. In addition to missing the Power & Speaker Switch knob (p/n 5319140 - if anyone has one please let me know..I haven't been able to find one yet online), most of the front display lamps do not light up.

Can anyone who has had one of these units tell me if the fix could be as simple as replacing a dead fuse?

Ebay will be your best source, there is a seller who parts units out quite often and might have what you need.

The lamps are probably blown, you'll need to replace those. Get the lamps from this guy.....

Thanks for the recommendation to seek out dgwojocom for the lamps! I will definitely look him up. I also think I may have found another user that has a missing knob for my G-3000. I'm just working out the details now.

Also make sure all the lamp and lamp holder solder connections are not compromised.

Good tip, I seem to remember cracked or otherwise faulty solder joints on the bulb holders with this series of receivers, being a very common problem.

And also people forgetting to turn the receiver OFF before resoldering those connections.

Just circling around to say it took me a while, but first I found my POWER/SPEAKERS button, and in doing so, found my electronics guy. He understood I wanted it to look as close to original as possible (not blue LEDs...not that there's anything wrong with it if that's your preference). It was was even ready next day. I'll be using him potentially again for some vintage turntable reclamation projects. I'll include a pic!

BTW, I should mention whether I'm playing my Kenwood KA-3050R or the recently acquired Sansui G-3000, I'm running them through som Cerwin Vega At-10's I've been using since the early 90s. The KRK Rokit 5's (only right side pictured) is running through my Focusrite 2i2 and into my DAW. This is a temporary living arangement, hence why I removed the A-B (before my Bob Dylan records) and placed the monitor there. Of course there's one at the same height on the left side
