Sansui G-6000 in Near Mint Condition

I've been wanting a "classic" Sansui or Marantz receiver. A Sansui G-6000 has shown up on CL for $275. It's supposedly in near mint condition.
Would it be considered "classic" or from the heyday of Sansui?
Does $275 seem fair?
