I am trying to find a service manual for a Sansui G-9000DB, I I can find is a G-9000. Not 9000DB. Trying to find pot to adjust to bring the tuning meter in the vertical center. It is 3/4 to the left. The signal is good. Thinking it might bring it into stereo since the LED lamp it does light. up. Checked the LED and it is good, Perhaps the FM IC but what is the HA#? Anyone know?

DB non DB, same tuner board.
The difference is a separate Dolby FM de-emphasis board which will have no influence on the issue you're having.

To properly adjust the meter position you will need to perform a proper alignment and so along the way be able verify the tuner is operating correctly. One thing can easily affect another in the world of tuners.
RF, IF, Discriminator, MPX adjustments and so forth.

There can be several reasons why the meter is not centred. It could be an incorrectly adjusted discriminator, and if it is, you do not want to be just correcting the meter without knowing why it's like that. You may have more than one issue.
You will need a RF signal gen, distortion analyser, MPX generator, scope and a whole load of RF experience.
The issue will be easy for a RF tech to solve, but if you dont have this, I wouldn't mess with it. Get it to a tech.

The G9000/9000DB tuner is an excellent performing tuner and most worthy of a proper alignment to ensure optimum performance.

Thank you for your response. Does anyone happen to know of someone in the Nashville TN area that can align this?

Ok. Manually fixed this. Found an FM stereo station the wire connectors that plugged in the meters to the FM board and next to it was a pot. Turned it a little counter clockwise and it centered the meter. While doing this it turned on the FM LED and went into stereo. Now sounds excellent!

Not the way I would do it, but if its not working right, nothing to lose to make an adjustment. Good on you for giving it a go!!
That is the discriminator inductor, not a pot, you've got lucky and somewhat centred the adjustment better than it was.
If the discriminator is off, the meter will be off centre and the receiver often wont pick up the stereo sideband.

I learned my lesson with tuners at a young age... I had a am/fm transistor table radio when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. Opened the back and played with all the adjustments.
Messed it up pretty good, and had no reception. Had to ask my dad (a bell labs engineer) try to get it working. He was not pleased with me LOL.
He got it working, but was never as good. Learned my lesson, and has stuck in my mind for 55 years.
