Sansui G5700

Hi
Picked up a G5700 tonight and a set of klh 17 speakers
the sansui will not come out of protect mode
I checked the fuses and thats ok removed the bottom
cover and the board under the power transformer has large resistors on it
the board is black under two of them need to check some voltages or if someone has any info that would be great

I know this is an old thread but I just picked up a G5700 as well. It plays from multiple sources at low volume but goes into protect mode when turned up more than about quarter volume. Any help here or do I need to start a new thread?
