Hooked up to the OLA (original advents) very sweet sounding set. The posts took a good while. She’s likely my keeper Sansui now.

Getting pressure to thin the herd from the wifey.

Which one would you cut:
STA2100 (Realistic)
SX850
Citation 16A (H-K)

All are rebuilt and sound like keepers. The STA2000 is in my daughter’s room sound crazy good hooked up to her HPM60s. Thinking maybe swapping out the 850 in there and unloading it STA2000.

Keepers:
Marantz 2335
SX1250
G7500
SA800 (Technics)
Sansui 800

Anyways thinking she can just suck it up...

I always regret selling gear, I have learned my lesson from selling my Sansui G22000, but then in a strange turn of events being able to buy it back 6 years later...
After that I am never selling anything!!
But I would cut the SX850 if I had to cut one...

G-Unit Separate Line = okay they call it receiver, but it looks lie a pre-amp and amp to me.

That is pretty much holy grail stuff that requires a wheelbarrow of cash and some luck to find one within 500 miles.

This is always an interesting discussion, yes they split it up into two sections, Tuner/Pre-amp and Power-amp.
However, one will not work without the other one.
It has a multi-pin umbilical which connects the two together, the power switching and part of the protection circuit is in the pre-amp, the rest of it os in the power amp....the switching for the speaker relays is also in the pre-amp section..
To use them separately, you would have to modify them.
So, as they are integral to each other, then it qualifies it as a receiver.

I think Sansui broke it into two parts as together, it is over 50kgs, so would not be very easy to move and ship....

I used google plus to host my pictures... and lost the pictures on about 10+ rebuilds.

Google plus - discontinued.
 
Storage is so cheap that I keep all my files on a backup HDD. I leave some files "on-line" for access, but all pics, tunes, etc, get copied to the external HDD before anything else. That drive stays in a small firebox.

Really appreciate you posting this list. Just want to note that C05, C06, C07, and C08 are 80v. The list linked calls out C04, C05, C06, and C07 as being 63v. I believe there is a discrepancy in reference, but more importantly 63v is the voltage at their respective points in circuit. Using 63v caps here is not advisable.
