Sansui G971

Hi everyone, this is my first post after finally signing up for Audio Karma. My question is: do you guys know how much a Sansui G971 (European black faced G-9700) is worth? None has come up for auction on the bay or anywhere really, so I don't know how much it is possibly worth. Can you guys shed some light on my question?

Funny this should pop up as my G971 will be leaving me in about 12 hours. They're quite rare and if they're working properly with good cosmentics they will fetch a good amount. That is of course unless you happen to live in New England lol

Unfortunately I live in the New England area how come you say that?

Hmmm; 2 971's in New England? Do you own the 971 you're asking about?

No, I was just wondering what it's value might be since I've never seen it go on auction, I've only seen the 871 go on auction last month so I wanted to ask about it's larger counterpart. I know a guy selling a G901 but other than that, never heard anything about a G971 before.

If you're lucky enough to find one local buy it. They rarely come up for auction as you know probably because they're the European version of the 9700.
