Hello I am looking for an F-2632 circut board for my QRX-9001.In the service manual page 15 article 5-10 shows the selector circut board but in small letters beside the label it says (Stock NO 7594371 MODEL QRX-8001 ONLY) is there a different stock # for the 9001? is the same board for both? Thanks for any and all information.

I've not worked on an 8001 (only 9001's), but suspect that while the bare circuit board is the same in both models, there are differences in the components populated on the board dependent on the specific model.

Sansui did this a lot with certain circuit boards, like driver stages for example, on closely related models, where only minor component changes were needed to adapt for minor differences. So, if you need a board for an 8001 specifically, it will have to come from an 8001. A 9001 specific board would need it's differing components removed and replaced with the appropriate parts from an existing 8001 board.

I'm curious if you are in need of the board because you have one that is damaged, or if it is missing altogether? If only damaged, you will most likely need to repair it. Finding a board like that from a unit being parted out is possible, but doesn't happen frequently. And parts for the 8001/9001 generally don't come cheap when they do turn up.

The 9001 has F-2634 "4-ch Function Switch & REC CAL Tone Circuit Board". That board in the SM (on page 13) is listed for both 9001 and 8001, but I don't think that's correct. In the 8001 F-2632 has the selector switches for the quad processing as the OP indicated. On the far right are the FM muting switch and the FM mono switch. This last switch is different on the 9001. Instead of FM mono, the 9001 has a "METER" and "REC CAL TONE" switch. Those functions appear to be present on F-2634. OP, look at which board is actually in your 9001. I strongly suspect it will be F-2634 and not F-2632.
