Sansui R-70 advice very "bright" sound on R channel and no L channel audio

Bought this receiver on a whim at a Goodwill store this past weekend. Nice little unit. It powers on. I know very little about Sansui as I'm mostly an HK and Pioneer guy.

Anyway, no matter which input I select (AM/FM/Tape/Phono), there is no audio coming out of the Left channel. On the R channel, the sound is very "bright" is the way I'd describe it. And it doesn't matter which input is selected. I also plugged in headphones and same result.

I know this is not a very popular receiver but would love to fix it up if possible, as I'm a newbie. I do have a DMM and I'm able to replace lights, transistors, and caps as needed if I know which ones to remove. I'm not good at reading schematics but I'm trying.

I'll post pictures shortly.

TIA....JP
