Hey there speaker experts..
I have a pair of Sansui S-45C 4-Way speakers. I have had them for a while and they have always sounded great.
I recently got a new stereo receiver (Harman Kardon HK3490)
I am trying to determine if these speakers can handle the new receiver or if I am damaging my new receiver by using these speakers. I really don't want to give them up.
I cannot seem to find any specs for these speakers online.
Here's what I do know based off of looking at the stickers on the speakers.
WOOFER 10''
MIDRANGE 5''
TWEETERS 4''
HANDLING 55 WATTS
The Harman Kardon receiver is listed at 120 watts driven into 8 ohms or 150 watts driven into 4 ohms.
Any help is appreciated.
