SANSUI SC-5300 No Sound

HI I have pulled my SC-5300 cassette deck out of 20 year climate controlled storage. Did a full check of caps before power up.. Had a belt issue where deck would start and play for a few seconds and quit. Replaced all of the belts. Now the next issue is transport works fine rewind, fast forward and play, etc. (havent tried to record yet). I get sound for maybe 1 second and sound stops but transport is running. If I rewind or FF and press play I get the 1 second of sound again. checked connections and solder joints all appears fine. If I do probe on input to amp I do get hum. Checked cables to heads with meter all good.

Not sure where to go next.

Would this possibly be a bad head?

Sounds like the right spool is not turning. This causes auto stop, as the tach pulses are missing from that takeup spool. I have a 5100 and new belts, but mine just started doing this. I suspect the spool belt is bad. 4 belts total on this thing….

As I stated the transport does not stop and tape runs. Turns out I had miss marked 2 3 pin cables. None was the mute. Put them in proper places and fixed. THanks for the suggestion.
