Sansui "Separate" Preamp vs. QR-4500

Hi. This may seem like an odd question, but I have a QR-4500 and I like it a lot. I was wondering how much "better" sounding some of the separate Sansui preamps are than the preamp section of the QR-4500. I know there is no objective answer (although....). But perhaps someone could break down the primary differences.
