Sansui Seven Dial Lamps Replacement

I want to install LED's in the dial and meters. I tried to remove the metal housing that holds all the dial lamps but there is not enough space to get it out. Can you remove the face plate and get to the lamps from the front instead?

I believe the metal housing will pull out when you unscrew the top screws. I had the faceplate off recently. The tuner scale is blocking the fuses. I'm not sure if you can peel that back to get to the fuses. If you do, I would turn the tuner dial all the way to the right and peel back from the left so as not to damage the dial. But not sure if that is even doable. BTW, where did you get your fuses? And what is the exact fuse part to order?
