Sansui Seven Tuner Power Supply

Hello everyone,
I was listening to FM on my Sansui Seven, it suddenly went mute. Upon investigation, it happened to be TR002 on the power supply board which is a 2SD330. This supplies +12v to the Tuner section. The rest of the unit works fine. Many in the forum mentioned TIP31C or TIP41C as a replacement. However I'm wondering if KSD526Y could be used as I have a bunch laying around.

I see no reason that wouldn’t work. I think I used a mje15032 and worked fine.

IMO, the KSD526 is a good replacement for the 2SD330 or 2SD331.
