Sansui SM-X700 (Car audio amplifier)

Hello friends, as a good Sansui fan I was curious about some car audio amplifier Sansui, last week I found one near Madrid very cheap and I could not resist the temptation, I received it today.
Precious, NOS, 7.5 KG ..... now we need to know how it sounds. Does anyone have any experience with Sansui Car Audio? This model seems to be from 1988 and is completely new, only the box is old.

I will not be able to hear it until I put it in my car, I will have to change and add speakers ... now it takes the originals from the factory and it has a horrible sound ... I need the Sansui sound even in the car

Very nice find there, an X Balanced car amplifier; and NOS no less. Would really like to find one like that myself. I imagine it should sound very good if it follows the reputation of the conventional (home use) X balanced amps.

I've no experience with these so far, so will be looking forward to what you have to report once you have it installed and in use.

i am quite surprised that sansui has design sound system for car audio. Not like the one's are coming from china. Looks like the parts used are very high quality.

Sansui made a lot of different model high-quality car amps, and EQs, commander stations, etc., for autos.

Check out this sucker... the SM-A1 a more modern Sansui X-balanced car audio amp which uses Elna Silmics and Riken resistors, just like the late model Alpha amps!
