Holy Kabuki batman! $120

Not sure these are the same pair, but there were some SP-2000s that popped up for sale every few weeks this past summer, and they were always somewhat overpriced. I don't think I'd pay $120 for these, but someone might.

I've bought a few speakers from the gentleman selling these, and I've heard them while I was there. They sound better than my larger Sp-x9900 and I have heard they're very efficient. Expense is in the ear of the beholder..nice guy selling them, though.

Yeah, I believe the ones for sale this summer were more in the $250 range with lots of exaggerated language about one of the best vintage speakers ever made etc., etc. $120 may well be a reasonable asking price, I just probably wouldn't pay it.

Didn't mean to lump that I probably wouldn't get them in with the possibility of being overpriced. It's always good to hear about a good CL seller, because they definitely seem to be the exception rather than the rule.

Yeah they looked nice. I have no space for speakers, nor money for them.

Thought I would throw that out there!

That's a very large vent.

Actually not a bad-sounding speaker, but mine got sold when I got my AR-2ax's. Just no comparison. Then again, I got mine for free.
