I just saw an ad in the AdTrader (kind of like a UK Craigslist, but not as good) for a pair of "big Sansui speakers".
I gave the guy a ring and it turns out they are SP-3005's, which are apparently pretty rare - a google session brought back a Craigslist ad for $900. He says they are in perfect condition with only a couple of small marks on top. It's a 150 mile round trip though...and I'm not sure if I have the space for these beasts.
However, if they really do sound something special, I think it might be worth it. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks in advance.
If any other UK members are near Christchurch and are interested, I'll happily give you his phone number. I'm not affiliated with this in any way though.
