Sansui Speakers

It's probably been covered before, as I remember Sansui speakers are not held in the highest (or even high) regards.... to say the least.

As an addict of E-bay, where I found 80% of my audio equipment, I see many different Sansui speakers... even many different sizes in one enclosure<GG> Sooo....are there any decent to (almost) great Sansui speakers??

I have a set of Sansui PM-C70 & PM-C100 and they sound great!
 
Still have my PM C100's Still the best midrange driver and woofer people have never heard. The mid driver is so good you can see it there, but you don't hear it is my only way to describe it as it has zero faults after many years of trying to find any issue with it. A true masterpiece. I will have to take a video as both drivers are currently out as I am trying to find a poly fuse or something that keeps getting weaker and weaker shutting off the speaker until I turn it down some.
 
Found a pretty seldom speaker ES-P302 on kleinanzeigen, for which I found zero/nada on the net. But there is a complete row with ES_P301/P302/P303/P305 (followed by way bigger ES-P601).

I have a pair of speakers that I never see posted about. I have the Sansui SP-3200’s. Typical 12 inch cloth surrounds bass, 5 or 6 inch mids and 2 front facing horn tweeters behind diffusers. The interesting part is that on the top panel is a lattice grille matching the front grille and behind it is 2 more up firing horn tweeters. Those tweeters can be turned off completely or switch off one of the 2. It really gives some depth to the sound depending on the room. Had them recapped the stuffing replaced. They sound great with my Sansui 9090. I never see this model talked about or up for sale. Still weak in bass.
 
@peterott, those ES series speakers were specially commissioned by Sansui's European division in order to offer a line of speakers more in line with tastes of that market. You'll notice they are all acoustic suspension types, rather than the ported designs Sansui typically built in the era. They look much like the AS series speakers offered in the US market (and perhaps elsewhere). These never gained much popularity, but we're well build speakers that sound decent, even if they are far less efficient than their SP series "cousins". I believe all of the ES model line was contract manufacture in Belgium (which is also where Sansui's European market offices were located at the time).
