Hello,
I have a Sansui SR-222 MkII turntable where I have the arm rest, but are missing the screw to fasten it to the arm base. The screw seems to be about 15 mm long, and between 1-2 mm in diameter.
Does anyone know the exact dimensions of this screw (metric or US), so I could order a new one? I have no local dealers that have a selection of screws in these dimensions where I could try them, and to order one requires the correct dimensions, at least the correct diameter (I can always cut the length.)
I checked the service manual on vinyl engine, but it just gives the arm rest part number (which probably included the screw), but no info about dimensions. And I guess the days when you could call Sansui and order parts are long gone...
I expect it's the same screw on multiple Sansui SR models that have a similar arm base.
In advance, thanks for your help.
Regards, Knut
