my headshell does not look like any of the pictures posted. just look similar and the cartridge has 2 number on it. On the front is N400, on the left side is 400.V3.
How do I suppost to set thetracking force on it.

That particular cartridge has a conical stylus and needs to track between 3 to 7 grams.

Hi guys!
I have the same Sansui SR-717 and I'm completely in love. Its the first time I own a "statically balanced, s-shaped" tonearm and I think it tracks great. All noise flor and scratches are reduced to a minimum and you can hear old records like new after a good clean.
The only thing about the tonearm is the antiskate system, its not very effective. I'm not achieving a correct position on the two weights to reduce the skating factor. I tried adding a little more weight to the suspended one and it seems to be working fine now but I'm wondering if I'm messing up something somewhere else jaja.
Have you guys tried adding more weight to the suspended counterbalance?
