I have a Sansui SR3060 that came with a number of other Sansui equipment from an estate sale. It has the original Sansui cartridge and probably stylus too. I cleaned it up and put a new drive belt on it. All the mechanical functions work although some are a little jerky. The cartridge will have to go. It's cosmetically is very good shape. The turntable is pretty heavy. My question is where does this stand among other vintage turntables like Pioneer and Technics? Is it a keeper or should I use it to trade up?

This is my first AK post although I've come here many times for reliable input.

Hi VintageGuy57, welcome to AudioKarma Exclusively Sansui. I don't know where that turntable fits in the universe of vintage turntables. You might try asking this question in the turntable forum. The folks there might have broader experience.

In the meantime, use it and enjoy it. If you like it, keep it. The only thing that matters is does it make you happy.
