sansui t-1000 tuner doesn't work

[Gal Genossar]

Hi there and thanks for the help !

I just dug out my fathers 7 pieces sansui from the garage, bit by bit bringing it back to life
my tuner does not lock in on any station.
also it doesn't make any sounds (no noices at all)
when I lock on a station it still doesn't work
(other components connected to the pre amp work fine)

antennas connected? hit the mono switch?

[Gal Genossar]

yeah antana connected.
which mono switch? the one on the back of the control unit? (c1000)

tonysrep. No MONO switch on the tuner. 1987-1990 Totally digital unit.

Gal. You probably don't want to hear this, but it'll probably cost you more to have the problem trouble shot by a tech, than it would to get a used working tuner within that era or earlier.
