Sansui tu-555 Left channel quiet

Culprit

New Member
Good Morning all, I have a vintage Sansui tu-555 with the left side output being like 80 percent quieter than what the right side output is. I have the schematic along with pictures. I have tried looking at the schematic but it is tough to read. I am assuming this will need a recap. Any advice or anyone that can tell what is wrong?

Here is a link to the pictures:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried cleaning the level switch on the back panel, at least run it back and forth a bunch of times.

Just tried running it back and forth multiple times. it is labeled "MPX Seperation" and does not make a difference until you get to the very end of turning it clockwise increasing it by 10% but still nowhere close to equal with the right side output.

Hi,

the Switch is the “Level adjust” two position switch located above the RCA outputs
