Sansui tuner light question

Hey, I posted awhile ago about fixing up a Sansui R-5 with a persistent hum. Thanks to you guys I figured out the issue was a dirty power switch, and now its running nice and quietly. Thanks for the help!

One more issue going on is a burnt out/broken/otherwise unworking tuner light- the part that slides along the tuner is partially unworking. I've attached a few pictures of the problem.

I'm new to this type of stuff, but it doesn't appear to be a traditional bulb, and I'm not sure how to fix this particular problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I realized I didn't describe the actual problem very well or at all:

The lights in the tuner pointer consist of two triangles on their sides, with a vertical bar in the middle. Only the left triangle lights up, while the other two sections do not. It is not lit by a regular bulb, but rather a small piece of what appears to be circuit board with a plastic lighting unit attached to it. If anyone could help, the assistance would be welcome! I can provide better pictures or information if anyone needs it.

Thanks for your time

Edit: I wrote about replacement lamps but these are surfacemounted from the looks of the traces and lack of thru-hole, so you'll probably find surface mounted LED's under that diffuser. Still have to remove the white plastic part to get to them, and I would check voltages going to that board first since LED's rarely fail in a bunch like that. One of the four LED's is a common and the other three are switched, one goes to each LED. Could be switched positive or switched ground, pop your meter on there and check DC voltages as you tune back and forth.

The plastic piece appears to be glued on, should I be trying to get it off somehow so I can get under it?

The light comes from these very tiny, almost dots inside the plastic part - can LEDs look like this? Sorry if that's a dumb question, there just don't appear to be light bulbs of any sort on the board, rather a three tiny clear specks that shine when powered on. Of these, only one shines.

I don't currently own a multimeter, but I'm trying to get into this stuff and I'd be down to buy one because I know they're real helpful. What should I be looking for when/if I measure the voltages of the four wires? Again, sorry about all the simple questions.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

One of those wires is "ground ", usually the black one, and the other 3 are positive voltage for each light. Compare the reading between ground and each positive when the lights should be ON. If you have voltage and no light, the light is probably bad (or the connections to the light). If you have no voltage, the problem is elsewhere.
