Hi Guys - I recently acquired a Bryston 2B power amplifier, JBL Studio Monitor 4406 speakers and a Sansui P-L45 turntable. I am hoping someone can recommend the best yet affordable set up to get these all working. I am very new to Audio gear and set ups, any help or advice greatly apprciated.

You need a control preamplifier, plus wires to hook everything together. While you could technically use just a phono preamp, you'd also need a separate volume control, and you wouldn't be able to connect anything else such as a streaming device, without adding a separate switch box.
Do you have a budget in mind? Would you want to get something new, or around the same vintage as your other components? Is there anything you'd want to add, such as a radio tuner?

BTW, have you confirmed that the turntable works? I know you can't get sound out of it yet, but you should put a record on it and press start and make sure that it spins, and the needle drops in the appropriate spot. This is a linear tracking turntable, and they can be a pain to repair.
Thanks for the response. I am easy on new or used side of things, would perhaps prefer vintage? Don't mind if I need 2 bits of gear. Budget literally have no idea, don't know if around $1,000 is achievable? Outside turning it on and making sure the arm etc. work when I hit the button I haven't tried the turntable but got it from an old enthusiast who had a current receipt for a full service and small repair for more than I purchased the unit for. He was adamant it was in good working order.
And sorry Ideally I would like to connect a TV through to the AMP.
For a quality used pre-amp with remote... definitely.
Here's a decent one in Canada for around $450 US

You can find lots of used vintage preamps on eBay. Just make sure it has a phono input. One example I found is an Adcom GTP-400 (which includes an FM tuner, even though you didn't say you wanted one, but it's still pretty reasonably priced) for $175. Not going to link it since adding eBay links will probably get this thread moved to D&S, but you can find it with a search.
But for well under $1000 you can get a vintage pre, a decent subwoofer and all the cables you'll need to make a great sounding system with what you've got.
If you want to go new instead, you could get a Schiit Saga 2 preamp plus a Mani phono preamp (Schiit preamps don't have phono preamps built in), for a total of about $430.
Or if you want to do it on the cheap, a Fosi Audio P4 preamp plus a Fosi Box X2 phono preamp, total about $170.
ETA: or one more, this Douk preamp has two inputs including one phono, for $110.

You might want to look for a Bryston preamplifier with built in phono stage. I assume the TT has a decent cart?
new you may want to consider a Wiim Ultra. It will allow you to stream music off the internet and also allows you to connect your TT.

I 2nd the Parasound. It is a solid Preamp with DAC. It will suit your needs currently and allow you to expand in the future. It is also the same size as the 2Blp. There are many fine preamps W/DAC's on the market with various features in your price range.
You could even consider a streaming such as the WiiM Ultra Hi-Res Music Streamer.
