SANSUI TURNTABLE??? Help (FR3060)

Hello AK family! Ok, I have been searching for a better than average turntable for a while now. I think, or I am pretty set on pioneer PL series or Marantz… I know it doesn’t matter but I like the wood look and I know I could veneer or vinyl wrap what I chose. Or even make plinth… after searching for awhile and trying to be logical and not overpay, not pay much for junk or buy average and not be satisfied so buy another and another…. I found this on marketplace Advertised that it works fine condition, works beautifully. Right under $200. I’ve read and most are happy with it. It is a little over an hour away is the thing. Message yesterday because I was working in that county. So I hung out waiting for close to three hours for a response. None till this morning maybe that was supposed to happen so I could think on it because if she responded I would have pulled the trigger. Feeling stuck and could use some insight because impulse is telling me to get it. What do y’all think? Thanks in advance for taking the time to read…

Its a nice table for that money. I have a similar model but not a fully auto the 2050.

Things that will need attention from my own experience.

The motor may need to be opened up cleaned and re oiled. There are also oiling tubes with a wick inside that may need replacing if you plan to use them
inn the future.

Also the spindle may be frozen or at least slow and may need removal and cleaning with more oiling.

Not sure about the auto mechanisms. Mine is has an undo of play lift or return, I can't remember as its not in regular use.

Thanks Nash! Looking for service manual now. I was told it works fine, not sure how often it used. I know a lot of oil that dries or turns sticky after time. So I will probably do that for preventative maintenance. Is the motor much different from oiling an old fan motor? RCAs easy to upgrade? As far as location and getting to them? Makes me nervous soldering around finished material or lacquered wood! Hand built a fender telecaster and got all the way to finishing installing pickup and drop of hot solder fell on my lacquer!!!

If it is working fine already, no need to touch the motor, just couple of drops of oil through the lube tube on top. Spindle is also usually not problematic on this generation of Sansui unless in state of disrepair.
Great old school turntable with low capacitance wiring in tonearm (FR series as frequency response for CD-4 quad cartridges).

Do you agree on the price of $180? I am supposed to pick up today but we are meeting somewhere so I am not sure about testing it. Well I do have a built-in inverter in my 2014 forerunner. I’m sure it puts out enough current for a turntable
